I don't really have much to say, just wanted a new entry! I'm busy working on the Fall Festival at church! Anyone want to volunteer to let kids throw whipped cream pies at your face on the 31st?? Call me!  

(I have many other openings if the whipped cream thing scares you...)

I was thinking about how God works in our lives...sometimes He can be like a tornado! That could sound a little sacreligious but I don't mean it that way at all! I've just been looking at my life and noticing that there are times that God has picked me up from where I was, taken me through a whirlwind of experiences (some hard, some exciting...sometimes like the ride of my life!), and put me back down...sometimes in the same place as before...sometimes a different place. Either way, my life has been changed by what He did in the middle! All too often I have resisted Him, not wanting to move. Why do I do that?! OBVIOUSLY, He knows what's best for me, and He will work it all together for His good. Don't I want His good? It's easy to say I do, but my actions prove otherwise way too often...just a glimpse into my thoughts today... :)

Hey, I'm going to Messiah to visit my sista next weekend! (Sept 30-Oct 1, Steven's going too!) And then we'll be in Winona Lake, IN on Oct 2-3! We have meetings at Grace Brethren International Missions on the 3rd (talking about going to Thailand for real!), but we are hoping to catch up with all of our Grace friends on the 2nd!! :) I've never been to the Grace Brethren Fellowship's "Mecca" before, so I'm looking forward to it...those of you who are there or have been there...how cold is it at this point in the year? I don't need to pack snow pants yet, right? :)
